 Loo of the Year Awards for the UK’s Best Public Toilets 2011

The Loo of the Year Awards is a very prestigious annual event hosted by the British Toilet Association.  Danfo UK are once again proud to have been  awarded a number of awards in this year’s ceremony:  

Carmarthenshire County Council  along  with Danfo UK’s Partnership became the proud holders for the coming year of  the:

Public Toilet Entries Trophy - Awarded to the best entry from the Public Toilet Entries categories.

Danfo UK, Blackpool Council & Wyre Borough Council  once again obtained a “Champions League Standards of Excellence Award” .

As Danfo UK manages all of Blackpool’s  & Wyre’s public toilets, we are delighted to have received this recognition together with our clients.

This title recognises consistently high standards of public toilets. It can be awarded to any organisation or Local Authority with ten or more public toilets entered in the competition, with five or more of these being awarded 5***** stars (the highest mark available for a public toilet).

In order to be recognised as a member of the Champions League Standards of Excellence, the winner must also satisfy the British Toilet Association’s inspectors that they are maintaining a consistently high standard in all their entries throughout the year.

Champions League Local Authority Award

This award was presented to the following of Danfo UK’s clients for their excellent public toilet provision in 2010:

Blackpool Council is a 5 star roll of Honour Listing Local Authority   -  Overall 3rd Place  (61% @ 5***** rating)

Wyre Borough Council is a 5 star roll of Honour Listing Local Authority - Overall 4th Place (93% @ 5***** rating)

Carmarthenshire County Council is a 5 star roll of Honour Listing Local Authority  - Overall 17th Place (100% @ 5 ***** rating)

Lancaster County Counci is a 5 star roll of Honour Listing Local Authority - 5 entries (100% @ 5 ***** ratings)

Fylde Borough Council  is a 5 star roll of Honour Listing Local Authority -  9 entries  (78% @ 54 ***** ratings

We are also very proud to announce  that the:

External Contractor Cleaning Team Award for Wales was also nominated to Danfo UK and collected by Carmarthenshire County Council. This award is presented to the Cleaning Contractor company or Organisation which, in the opinion of tthe judges, is providing a high level of service to one or more seperate Loo of the Year Awards entrants.

Carmarthenshire County Council also as already mentioned above  received a Trophy Award for the ”Public Toilet Entries ” .

The Venue

The awards took place again this year at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth on December 2nd  2011, hosted by the British Toilet Association with Sean Williamson being the after lunch speaker.

This enjoyable celebration of public toilets was all the more special because  Danfo UK and our Clients were rewarded once again for all our efforts in providing and maintaining a first class public toilet service.

Annual Client Survey Results

At Danfo, our clients are our priority and we always aim to improve our services.

For this reason, we have asked independent assessors QMS to do an annual Benchmarq survey of our clients. With the results of this in mind, we can always make sure that we bring you better public toilets and services.

This year we are proud to announce that Danfo (UK) Ltd have been awarded a

“ Gold” Rating for 2011.
