A Brief History of Public Toilets

When Ove Danielsson founded Danfo in 1969, it was as an off shoot of the company once started by Alfred Nobel.

Danfo in the early years concentrated on toilets for industrial work places, working in partnership with clients to always stay at the forefront of technical development.

Danfo’s research and development department was quickly recognised as the world’s leading provider within public toilets. With this benefit, the company was ideally placed to move into the field of public toilets for urban and landscape locations, when demand for such installations grew in the 1970s and 1980s.
