Public toilet with cutting edge design 

Location: Sutherland Boulevard, Southend on SeaSutherland Boulevard

With many facilities in need of updating, Southend on Sea embarked on a programme to replace their old public toilets in 2003?.

This installation was the fifth to be replaced, and illustrates the client’s ambition to provide high quality public conveniences with interesting design. The roof, with a number of different pitches, is especially eye-catching.  

An architecture provided the blue print for this public toilet, which was built in Sweden and delivered to the site as a fully finished turn-key building.
